My First 100 Days as TYRF Chair
Hitting the Ground Running for Unity, Credibility, and Victory
The first 100 days of my chairmanship will set the tone for the next two years. TYRF doesn’t have time to waste - our organization needs immediate action to resolve long-standing issues, rebuild relationships, and get focused on our mission of winning elections in 2026.
Here’s my plan for the first 100 days:
1. Resolve the TYRF v. Chad Cohen Lawsuit
Consult immediately with TYRF’s attorney and opposing counsel to determine a clear, fair, and final path toward resolution.
Prioritize a conclusion that protects TYRF’s interests, ends financial drain, and allows us to move forward united.
2. Reopen Lines of Communication with the Republican Party of Texas
Meet with Abraham George, Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, within my first weeks in office to discuss restoring formal partnership status.
Send a Letter of Intent to the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) requesting TYRF’s attendance at the next SREC meeting.
Establish a Special Committee on RPT Relations tasked with building bridges, addressing concerns, and whipping votes from the SREC to secure our reinstatement.
3. Strengthen Our Communications and Brand
Form a Committee on Communications to overhaul how TYRF shares information with members, chapters, and the public.
Make the launch of a new, modern, user-friendly website a top priority to better represent TYRF’s mission, provide resources, and promote our activities.
4. Build the Foundation for Long-Term Unity
Begin drafting and socializing the Texas YR Compact, a pledge for unity and mission-first leadership, with input from the Executive Committee and chapter presidents.
Organize listening sessions with chapter leaders across Texas to ensure every voice is heard as we move forward together.
Why This Matters
The first 100 days will send a clear signal that TYRF is turning the page—away from division, distractions, and dysfunction, and toward credibility, unity, and results. By acting decisively in these areas, we will rebuild trust, restore our influence, and set the stage for Republican victories in 2026 and beyond.
