Meet DJ Seeger

DJ Seeger is a proven leader, entrepreneur, and policy advocate with a track record of turning vision into reality. Born and raised in Canyon Lake, Texas, DJ grew up working in his father’s small irrigation business—a local operation dedicated to serving homeowners and businesses. In 2015, at just 20 years old, he took the reins and transformed it into Seeger Water, now recognized as Texas’ premier irrigation and water management company.

Under DJ’s leadership, Seeger Water has become a leader in water conservation, smart irrigation technology, and sustainable resource management, serving communities, businesses, and public entities across Texas and beyond. His expertise has earned him the trust of state and federal leaders, who regularly call on him to provide insight and recommendations on water conservation and availability—critical issues for Texas’ future.

In addition to running a successful business, DJ is deeply engaged in public service across the state. He currently serves as:

  • A member of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s Irrigator Advisory Council

  • A member of the TCEQ Public Water System Advisory Group

  • A member of the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Private Security Advisory Council

  • A member of the Texas Business Leadership Council

  • A member of the Conservation Committee at San Antonio Water System (SAWS)

  • The Chairman of the Community Advisory Council at Hill Country MHDD, South Texas’ mental health and intellectual and developmental disability authority

DJ has also been an active member of the Texas Young Republicans Federation for over a decade. He has served on the TYRF Policy Committee, attended numerous conventions, and contributed thousands of dollars to support the Federation’s mission. His history in TYRF reflects his belief in its importance—not just as a political organization, but as a training ground for the next generation of Texas leaders.

At 30 years old, DJ is a capable and confident leader who is ready to step into the role of Chairman as a mission-focused, purpose-driven leader committed to the betterment of the Federation. He believes TYRF must rise above internal disputes, restore its credibility, and focus entirely on its mission: winning elections, developing leaders, and advancing conservative values across Texas.
